An Essex MP showed his personal support for Britain’s Armed Forces, by attending the 75th
anniversary of a major military display.
Mark Francois, the MP for Rayleigh and Wickford who also serves as the Shadow Armed
Forces Minister, demonstrated his support for the forces at the recent Royal Edinburgh
Military Tatoo.
The annual event, which was celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, is a demonstration of
military skills, incorporating performances from bands and display teams from the British
Armed Forces, as well as those from other allied countries, including Poland and the United
States.
Commenting on the event, Mark said:
“It was a privilege to be invited to support our Armed Forces at the recent Royal Edinburgh
Military Tatoo. This year’s theme was ‘The Heroes Who Made Us’ and we rightly paid
tribute to all those heroes who have served us in uniform, to help keep this country safe.”
