Mark Francois attends Troops’ Post Afghanistan Homecoming Parade

  Rayleigh and Wickford MP and Armed Forces Minister, Mark Francois, recently attended a special parade in Westminster when elements of the last combat troops to leave Afghanistan marched through Carriage Gates and into Westminster Hall, to be thanked by MPs for their service in that conflict.  

Mark Francois MP signs Holocaust Educational Trust Book of Commitment

  Mark Francois, MP for Rayleigh and Wickford, yesterday signed the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Book of Commitment on Holocaust Memorial Day (Tuesday 27th January), in doing so he pledged his commitment to Holocaust Memorial Day and honouring those who were murdered during the Holocaust, (as well as paying tribute to the extraordinary Holocaust survivors who work tirelessly to educate young people).  

Mark Francois meets troops deploying to Sierra Leone

  Rayleigh and Wickford MP and Armed Forces Minister, Mark Francois, recently visited personnel from Headquarters 11 Infantry Brigade, ahead of their forthcoming deployment to Sierra Leone, to help combat the Ebola virus.  

MP views new Parliamentary Education Unit Visitor Centre

  Mark Francois, MP for Rayleigh and Wickford, recently attended a briefing held by the Education Service to update MPs on the new Parliamentary Education Centre, which will be located in Victoria Tower Gardens.  

MP helps light up Hullbridge

Rayleigh and Wickford MP, Mark Francois, recently attended a Christmas Fair in Poole’s Lane car park in Hullbrigde where he turned on the Christmas lights to help illuminate the village for the festive season.
