Rayleigh and Wickford MP Mark Francois spent a lively Sunday afternoon visiting the Trinity Fair which took place recently in and around Rayleigh High Street. The Trinity Fair was a feature of Rayleigh life in the 19th century but was apparently discontinued in 1899 due to “excess rowdiness”.
Rayleigh and Wickford MP Mark Francois recently attended a charity fund raising dinner at Hylands House in Chelmsford, to help raise money for the campaign to redevelop the World War One Aerodrome at Stow Maries, near Maldon.
Rayleigh and Wickford MP Mark Francois has congratulated the Rayleigh branch of Lions Club International on successfully raising £15,000 towards the cost of a new minibus for the Hockley and Hawkwell Over 55s Day Centre in Hockley.
Rayleigh and Wickford MP Mark Francois paid a recent visit to European Refrigeration Ltd based on the Annwood Lodge Business Park on the edge of Rayleigh, to congratulate them on their success in being awarded a Royal Warrant by Buckingham Palace.
